Hello Jeff,
I have seen your videos and website and I think all of it is great. Its funny because I just received a Icon 6 bass in September 2006 and in reading your article, we did the same thing such as immediately changing the strings, being discussed with not having Bart's and etc. I really want to know what did you decide to do about keeping your Icon bass. Did you keep your bass and get the wiring fixed ? What do you think of the instrument if you decided to keep it ? I kept mine and I think its good, but I kind of wish that I sent it back though. I hope you have time to answer me back. Oh yes, my bass is right handed with a light gauge set of strings. I don't know how you ended up with a switch on your bass for the pickups, but my soaps don't have a switch.
I live on the east coast and hope that one day you will be touring on this side of the states performing. I look forward to purchasing your music. Take care.
Mitch
