just for context, the Telegraph is the very right-wing paper for Conservative intellectuals over here... Not something I'd ever be caught dead reading... ;o)

I didn't detect a political agenda in the articles.
If anything, they seemed a tad progressive in the over all trashing of business as usual and "greedy" over paid record label executives.
Perhaps UK "right wing" is more subtle than US "right wing"?
Either that or you're a flaming pinko. ,-)

They do have some great journalists, and these obviously slipped through the net. But yes, just now, UK right is definitely more subtle than US right. And significantly less scary, if no less wrong. :o)
