I particularly like the fact that the article addresses one of the main issues that didn't exist before now - the internet.
The internet allows us easy access to the works of the very top of any field of endeavor. This can be inspiring. It can also be demoralizing.
The key is to start. Be ignorant. Go with it. Enjoy it. It's often the most rewarding time because everything is new and progress is often fairly easy to materialize.
